UPS® Strike Avoided

We have a critical update to share regarding the potential UPS® strike. UPS® and the Teamsters have reached a tentative deal on a new contract, which would eliminate the threat of a strike for now. The strike would have crippled the United States economy and supply chain. The potential labor stoppage could have started as soon as next week. The tentative deal still needs to be ratified by about 340,000 UPS® workers to end the threat of a strike completely. This process will take more than 3 weeks to finish. A no vote by membership could still bring back the threat of a strike, but it would occur in late August if that happened.
